Instructions
There are a number of ways to download gridded data:- Search by RAWS station name or ID, then click the link to center the map around a result. Click on any grid point icon to view information about that grid point and download data.
- Click anywhere on the map to populate the query point latitude and longitude fields, or enter values manually. Click See grid points to view grid points near the query point. Click on any grid point icon to view information about that grid point and download data.
- Enter the (X, Y) coordinates for a grid point and click Get data to download the data directly for that grid point. A grid point ID is composed of its X-coordinate followed by its Y-coordinate (XXXYYY). For example, if a previously downloaded file begins with 091215, the (X, Y) coordinates would be (91, 215).
Grid Point Data
Below are the longitude, latitude, filename and grid coordinates (x,y) for all the available grid points.
The data are provided in both GIS shapefile and comma-separated value formats.
- Download a GIS shapefile (3.1M) of the grid points.
- Download a CSV file (4.3M) of the grid points.
