The following is a list of all of the currently-known data flagging systems used in CDBS 2.0, along with the agency responsible for the data flagging system and examples of when the flag system is used. Other flagging system codes will be added as necessary. The flagging system code is included in the netCDF observed data variables as a variable attribute, and the number of flags in the flagging system is used as a dimension for the data flag variables in the netCDF file.
