.SNOW SHOWERS WILL TAPER OFF OVER THE SIERRA AND SOUTHERN CASCADE
RANGE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON, BUT WILL CONTINUE OVER AREAS SOUTH 
OF INTERSTATE 80. ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS WILL OCCUR ALONG AND
SOUTH OF THE INTERSTATE 80 CORRIDOR.

* TIMING...SNOW GRADUALLY TAPERING TO SHOWERS TODAY. SNOW LEVELS 
  AROUND 3000 FEET. 

* LOCATIONS...INTERSTATE 80 OVER DONNER PASS, HIGHWAY 50 OVER 
  ECHO SUMMIT, HIGHWAY 88 OVER CARSON PASS. 

* TOTAL NEW SNOW ACCUMULATIONS TODAY...4 TO 8 INCHES DOWN TO 3000
  FEET TODAY.
